All manuscripts submitted to JMWAIS go through a double-blind review process. When an author submits an article to JMWAIS the title and abstract of the article is made available to the entire Editorial Board (EB). Any member of the EB may volunteer to review the manuscript and provide constructive feedback for transmission to the author(s). The Editor-in-Chief assigns at least two reviewers for each article. When these reviews are completed, the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor read them and transmit the content of the review to the author with a publication decision of reject, revise, or accept with specific revisions. The Editor-in-Chief makes the final acceptance or rejection decision, in consultation with any Senior Editor who read the article and the Managing Editor. Authors retain the copyright for published articles in the JMWAIS open access journal.
